Rescue and Rehabilitation of child Labor in Brick Kiln
- 1500 children have been rescued and able to gain right to education in Bridge Schools and integrated in to formal schools during 1998-2010
Intrastate Migrant Workers Rights
- 15000 brick kilns workers have been reached in both source area and destinations-Dalits and Tribal migrant workers from Villupuram District and working in Brick Kilns of Tiruvallore District have been sensitized on unorganized welfare labor legislations and working conditions.
- 10 acres of DC Lands or Pachami lands from Kakkanur Village and Poyyapakkam have been retrieved through direct legal redress actions and formal court of law in Villupuram District
Children’s Collectives
- 10 children’s collectives in 10 villages with 250 children have been formed and leadership facilitated and children from our collectives have been played an active role in the state level “Forum for Children Movement on Right to Participation –FCMRP.
Women’s Rights Grassroots Interventions
- Capacity building and women’s rights awareness trainings provided to 100 women and they have transformed in women leaders in the villages
- Women’s Participation in Panchayat-ward members and Presidents awareness and leadership programme has been done and 50 ward members and 20 Presidents emerged from our interventions.
